Hmmm ... there is a lot to like about the new 7, but the overall impression is ... dull.
Love the look of the twin-turbo V-8. Can't wait to see it in the next gen 5er.
The interior looks great with the shifter back on the floor where it belongs. And the center stack looks more oriented more towards the driver too.
The rear end styling is much improved over the old model, and, while the exterior certainly looks more refined and elegant, I think it's too conservative - especially after seeing the amazing CS Concept design language.
Let's face it, the competition is the Mercedes Benz S-Class, and the look of this new 7 does not overwhelm in comparison. All I can say is that this thing better drive like no other luxury car ever.

Yuk, that exterior looks are really ugly. That grille is somehow ?out of place?, it looks as the car designed and someone from Home Depot fitted an aftermarket grille on top of it. Not too fond of back either, but it could have been worse.
Interior is nice though.
I didn?t like the current 7-series when it came out, but the facelift E65 was really nice. But this thing? I think I have to see it in person first before deciding on a final opinion whether to like it or not.

It looks nicer than the current model more like an LCI version of our 5. I hope we can upgrade our idrive to surf the web like in the new 7.
