Hello folks,

Just got my new ride a few days ago, one thing that is driving me crazy already is that loud door chime and PDC beeping, can the volume be reduced somehow? I remember seeing a setting or volume control in the newer E60's iDrive but cannot find anything on my E66. Is this something that my SA can help?

you can adjust the PDC volume by the radio volume knob when the PDC is activated

Thank you for the tip but that didn't work. I turned the PDC on via switch in dashboard, got close to an item so that it would start beeping, turned the know either way and there was no effect whatsoever. The beeping volume remained constant. I might have an older model/software version. Thank you anyway. I'm kind of getting used to it anyway.
