my E60 is on the sport springs. our 04 745i isn't, and since I just got some Schnitzer type IVs for it, i want to get rid of the wheel gap without going too low. to me the sports pkg cars sit just right. i know that's not common opinion around here, but figured I'd ask.

Why not just get H&R's?

aren't they a harder ride than the sport springs? haven't tried them on a 7.

I have the H&R on my car, and I am pretty happy with the ride quality. I personally think OEM sport, or non sport rides a little too soft for my taste.

I think the 760's fronts are a good bit stronger than those on the v8's and therefore would also probably not lower but rather may actually "raise" the front ride height. I would agree with others in that the H&R's are a pretty good option if you can't find a set of used sport springs.
