A V10 twin turbo, sequential turbo, 5 liter engine would do just fine to well smoke everything in day to day driving and almost everything everytime. Of course it will not be that economical (get it?) but neither is the 535d. I mean i didn't buy it for the economics, it played a role there but not the main role.

been there done that , mercedes...

anyways i think they should build a ///Md considering AMG toyed with the c30cdi amg but poor sales meant that the whole thing never really took off

One day there will be an M diesel - the torque characteristics of the current generation of diesels are good, but it will get better still in future ....
