Guys, after 3 weeks with my 22 inch black centered MRRs, I am thinking of trading or selling them to repla ce with the lastest 20s on the 08 or the 20 BMW BBS wheels.

My wife drives this car and twice now she has barely, barely missed clipping a curb. Once in a drive through and I nearly flipped out so to keep us married I think I might switch to 20s with more tire so when she does hit, the wheel doesnt get all of the beating.

I see a set of 20s on ebay, but this is a feeler to see if anyone is interested. I'll post picks again but wheels and tires are 3 weeks old and look incredible. They have the TPMS in and I dont plan to remove them.

I'll post this in classified but if anyone knows of someone with an 08 with those 20 inch mesh BMW wheels that wants to trade, I'll go even if they have the TPMS and are in great condition.

Otherwise I may just sell mine and find a set to buy. Anyone looking. Wheels, Tires and TPMS for $2,500 plus shipping and again, will post in classified.

Thanks

Phillip

I dont think 20's are going to be curb proof either. Also, I could be wrong, but I think the factory 20's are going to cost a grip.

I agree, but with 20s there is more sidewall and if I go a lttle wider, then I overhang over the wheel more too so a little more protection.

Whereas the 22s, the tire is so thin there is very little protection. I dont have a problem because I pay close attention to how I drive near curbs and around turns, but the wife cuts a corner here and there and thats an accident waiting to happen.

Sam, how does that pricing sound to you since you have many cars, many wheels/tires, etc? Fair, overpriced, underpriced?

FYI: 20 Factories are high if buying new but used price is around $2500 to $3000 from what I have seen.

I think the price you are selling the 22" GT1 is fair. Since they are a little used, you are going to lose a little $$. Sounds fair.

Thanks and you are right, in total I paid more than I am asking because it was $2,300for wheels tires plus $400 for sensors but I got the sensors after so paid another $100 to have them installed. Roughly $2900 was my cost but I realize thats pushing it and I really want to break even or very close to what the new set will cost.
