Just ordered the lights - still a couple weeks out, but Germany has over 1,200 in stock. Worst case I will be spending more than half of next year in Hamburg/Munich/Berlin - keep that in mind for anyone who wants/needs back-order parts. If the iPod adapter does not come available soon I may pick that up in Germany as well.

Guys, I have a direct OEM replacement for license plate lamps with no errors and VERY VERY bright. 2 to 3 times brighter than stock LED license plate lamps. $60 shipped.

Just a little update on these.
I did this upgrade a few weeks ago but never got around to doing a write up. A member on another BMW forum did the mod and an excellent write up that can be found here. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=424617 I hope this helps everyone to do this very easy mod.
