but this convertable is horrible...
Guys - bear in mind that some people grew up in places where these orginal Volgas were really common. On the one hand a synonym of luxury but on the other hand also of apparatchikness and a communist party functionary on the inside. In Poland in the seventies there was an urban legend of the "Black Volga" pulling up and snatching kids in the street. As a 7 year old I wouldn't dare go near one of those. These days it's kinda cool to see enthusiasts trying to replicate the look. Makes the world a more intersting place.

It still is a damn waste of a nice and beautifull sixer.

Maybe the use of a Jag XK convertible might have done the job.....

What did they do with the body work of the sixer? Maybe they used it to convert a Volga into a M6.....

i agree its not my taste either.. but it was pretty much well done.. vintage looking. for sure its better than people in that other post who are converting daewoos into e60s.
