Saw this on the 5er threads and asked them if it worked for the 6-Series and they confirmed.

Any thoughts?

Its not a bolt on kit, its just a universal kit. You would need to put in some considerable labour and other parts to make this work, not to mention ecu remap. TT on our motors.. good luck keeping it in one piece for a long time lol

tbal is correct...it is not a bolt on kit. You need to have a turbo manifold made AND a ECU tune as well.

Wait for the VF SUPERCHARGER! It SHOULD come out in April

A turbo kit for our 6ser...hmmmm

This would an interesting project to take on. I'm sure it's doable and wonder if anyone would have the guts to take on this task. It sure would be badass!! I bet in the near future someone will have a turbo 6 since prices on the 6er are dropping.

Any takers?!!

I wonder how much it would cost to rebuild a 4.4 motor.. rofl Turboing is nothing but headaches, unless your willing to dump some serious $$$ and have a total gearhead/pro who has worked with turbos do it... Best solution, a lot realiable imo would be s/c... I hear ESS is also working on a s/c for the 4.4 motors...

And, it's not just the engine you have to worry about with either s/c or turbo. You start making unreal #s and the drive train has to be upgraded (and non-M6ers don't even have an LSD).
