I am liking the tinted tail lights, but don't want a permanent solution. Hence I ordered some tail light tint from ebay. Application is a bitch, cant get it perfect lol bubble as hell. No one locally I know does this, hence I am trying to DIY it myself...
But before I proceed, and perfect this what are your guys thoughts on how it looks... Before https://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w92/tbal69/1-4.jpg After https://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w92/tbal69/2-4.jpg https://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w92/tbal69/3-1.jpg https://i174.photobucket.com/albums/...9/IMG_0324.jpg Yes I will be doing the lower lights as well. |

Heat gun, soap, water and an old credit card? That didnt work to take out most of the bubbles? One of my customers had that film done also, and it took almost a month for all the bubbles to vanish. But thats with our lovely Cali weather, in the middle of summer. I guess your bubbles will be gone by March. LOL. :P

I'm indifferent.... not sure

On a dark color it looks good - what is the reduction in light output? Wouldn't want someone driving in your trunk because you couldn't be seen!

I went the permanent approach and had the tail light painted with a tinted clear coat, but I also have a set of stock light sitting in the basement if I ever decide to go back to stock. I can post pics later when I get on my desktop computer. |
