Does anyone out there drive a 6 series cabriolet all season including winter months. What is the soft top like when subjected to snow, ice, car washes, etc.
I like the idea of the 6 cabrio, but it has to be an all year round vehicle for me.

you could do it if you have an extra set of winter sport tires for the winter. Michelin makes a nice set that I used to have on my 2002 M5. Makes a big difference. Otherwise, in any snow, you're not moving anywhere. Still, I've noticed that the BMW's all together, unless they're an all wheel drive vehcile, don't really handle well in the snow. Its your choice though. Then you have to worry about salt on the roads. You could do it though.

We don't get snow here in South Africa but we do get hail and frost. I have no problems using the car all year round and find the soft top to be easy to maintain.

I am also interested in softtop all season use. I don't care too much about winter wheels answers as this obviously is a must. I am interested in cold wheater, noise and soft top maintainance.

And how's the noise at high speeds compared with a coupe?

Its loud. Not worth it. Want a convertible? Get a hardtop

The six series is not noisy at all. I recently did a long trip and at close to 200km on the clock I was able to have a normal convesation with my passenger.

Why don't you test drive one to get an idea for yourself?

I already bought it. E64 650i Convertible Individual. SUPERB CAR!
