Hey guys,

So remember when I first joined the forum and pretty much the first thing I did was whine that there was no module for the 6 verts that let you press the unlock button on the remote 3 times and the top goes down automatically or press lock 3 times and the top goes up automatically?
Well, I got with the guys from mods4cars and they tinkered on my 6 to create their first version of vert module for the 6. I'm going to get it pretty soon to finalize the testing under real life operation. Soo EXCITED!!! Plus, I don't think there's anyone out there that has one yet

I'll post a vid of it as soon as i get it installed

YEAH! Check this out hehe finally got the 6-Series Convertible module installed! it is sooo awesome!! You can open and close the vert with the remote. when inside you just have to push the console button once to open or close the vert instead of holding it. More info you can read at http://www.aftermarketbulbsshop.com/...64-p/ste64.htm

Now that is Way cool

How difficult is the installation procedure..

I always thought it was silly how you couldnt close the roof by holding the lock button yet you can open it with the unlock button!

Is it plug and play or is cutting and soldering required!?

It would be cool if you could reflash the exisiting comfort module of the vehicle via the OBDII port to allow for this functionality.. i know similar things are possible on VWs just fia reflashing the CCM units..
