running AE's but not taillights

so my next idea is to be able to let only the AE run without the taillights. should be pretty easy. a resistor connected between to give the illusion that the lights are on to the light module. Then if a switch is flipped the taillights actually come on bypassing the resistor

anyone interested?

Sounds cool. Is that how the '08's have the ae drl setup? Front always on but tails off?

yup...LCI DRL's are AE's on, no tails...
