Quickie 
1) Is the 6 series due for a facelift , if so when ?
2) when will the 6 seres be replaced by the new one (codename f11 AFAIK) .. is it more than 5 years down the road ?

Hi, Sorry I can't answer your question, but I have a 6 Series quick question so thought I'd put it here!
Assuming that the 5 and 6 series share many parts (switchgear/engines etc), why does the 645i have a temperature gauge below the rev counter (tachometer), whereas in pretty much all the 5 series i've seen there is a 'fuel ecomony gauge'?

My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
No rumors of facelift yet. The F12 (coupe) and F13 (Cabrio) are due in MY 2011. My guess is the MY07 won't but by MY08, maybe.

..dont know about any plans to face lift the perfect beauty of the 6er, but as for the next body, coded F12 coupe / F13 cab, its reported in the below link as production in 2011, so its about 5 years.... :
