Hamann do Delimiting for 630/645/650
The outcome of the reprograming 630 = 263 km/h (163.43mph) 645 = 280 km/h (173.99mph) 650 = 270 km/h (167.78mph) I thought the 650 has more HP? That would be crazy hitting 280kmh ...might have to chip tune soon. |

Shouldn't the 650 be 280 and 645 270 km/h?
I thought the 650 has more HP? That would be crazy hitting 280kmh ...might have to chip tune soon. My post is correct :) |
HA suckers... bring on the 650!! :P lol
|
That is weird...how does the exact same car but with more hp have a lower top speed? Doesn't add up.
|
Only 34hp more, 20kg heavier... who knows

Does anyone know what the top speed of the 650 and 645 coupe and convertible would be if there was no limiter?
|
160mph after a long day of work and a night of drinking... not a good idea!
|
I hit 100 MPH when my wife speed limiter hit...

You should check gearbox and final drive ratios :)
Also the 5er has a higher top speed than the 6er when the DME speed limiter is lifted (delta is about 7km/h) I've discovered that my 545i will not go beyond 172miles/h (true speed - not indicated) in 6th (5200rpm) unless I manipulate the transmission ecu. Is it doable ? - yes, but quite difficult (not a simple ecu flash upgrade). |
