How I did it. First of all let me say that I am by no means rich or for that matter have a lot of excess cash. My wife and I are retired military. I work and live in Germany. Three years ago I had the privilege to witness first hand the unveiling of the 645. With my wife?s blessing I decided to save my retirement to purchase this car. Well 2 years latter that time is finally here. I will pickup my brand new 2007 650i coupe this Tuesday. The car is equipped as follows.
Sport Package (I changed the rims/tires to Dirty Dog 5s 20?)
Cold weather Package
Comfort Access
Logic 7 Sound System
IPOD Integration System
Black with Pearl Leather Interior (Tan)
All for the total military price of 69,130. The dealer gave me a excellent price on my 2000 528i and The IPOD Integration was free. I ended up paying about 150.00/ month less than I had paid for my 528i. A very affordable 550.00 per month. I will probably drive it 7 months out of the year an get me a hooptie for the winter. This is really. for us normal guys (no so normal anymore). With a little determination and blessing from God it can be done. Incidentally in 2 years the car will still be worth what I paid for it, according to US prices.
