Well, I bought a LED angel eyes bulb kit for the AE's a little while back.. Wasnt what I expected. As I was changing the bulbs out, I noticed that the OEM AE's take these small Bulbs (t4w or ba9s) Sooo I figured that my stock AE's are pretty bright, what if I change this bulb for a xenon white bulb? Hmmmmm Well this is what happened.

Below, this is a picture showing the LED angel eyes on the left, and the OEM on the right.

These are pictures aftering replacing the oem bulb with a 12v 4watt bulb (stock is 10w, I couldnt find anything else) So right off the bat its not going to be as bright, because of the low wattage. The color, well I didnt really care, I was just trying to see if indeed this could work.

Results...

Hmmm brighter than the LEDs ... So if we could find a 12v 10watt Xenon white bulb, we could have some really bright, CHEAP AE solution. I paid about $8 for these bulbs...

Color was gross, I took them out asap lol But now, Iam curious to find brighter, white bulbs, and also, wonder if super bright LEDS would work

LOL when I put the AE's in it just happened, my mind is always curious...

I bet all these angel eye kits are the same idea... HIGH powered LED BULB, and some sort of resisitor to stop the triggering of codes in the car... $15 in supplys, and they charge $300... wow quite the markup rofl.

Now Im try to see if I can get some super bright leds to work Finding these bulbs are a BIATCH, I got these from UK rofl...

Hehe but serioslly, all these companys are doing is the EXACT same thing, LED bulb, some sort of resisitor, and bam....
Going to see if I can find some 12v 10watt pure white bulbs if not, lets see what the led bulbs do
If the stock AE's can be bright off a 10watt halogen bulb... it only makes sense.
