OK, I'm at my dealer a few weeks ago. and there is this beautiful black on black M6 sitting there.
After I pick up my loaner I drive to the Porsche store just down the road.
I worm my way into a test drive of a 997 C4S.
I am actually impressed (I was expecting to be disappointed).
But after digestng the $96K price tag, it got me thinking... That M6 was only $10K more!
So.... As I've gained an affinity for Alpine White, does anyone have a photo of a White M6?
I'd love to see the contrast with the carbon fibre roof panel.
It may just push me "over the edge"!

and for the same money as an m6 you could get a gt3, which would annihilate it

No mods yet...
hm..I'd say go for the M6 if you're looking for a super-quick Grand Tourer, but the 997 is certainly a better car in terms of performance and levels of fun.
