So anyway my dad valet parked his Mercedes and someone else with a Mercedes took his key by accident, but they had keyless go (comfort access in BMW) and another key so they didn't even realize they had the wrong one. My dad was locked out of his car and the hotel had to drive him back to his house and he never got his key.

That's why I keep the little key that came with my car in my wallet all the time. Today I took it out and it was broken :(. So I know there's some technology in it but does anyone think I could glue it or would it get stuck in the ignition? Maybe I could bring it back to the dealership and I could have another one made.... but they would charge me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Another weird problem with my car is that when I press the moonroof close switch it closes but then opens again so it's stuck open haha. Anyone know anything about this?

Dont glue it! Someone I know did this, and the broken smaller part of the key got stuck in the ignition with the car on rofl... What is this key for? Valet? I used it once, it still lets you drive normally, just wont let you open the trunk I think... It should limit the speed or something jeebus

I just use it as a backup in case something happens to my key.
