I was wondering if anyone has experienced this new issue. When I first purchased my 6 and hooked up my iPod everything worked great. About two weeks ago I went onto iTunes and found there was a download to fix several bugs on my iPod. I downloaded the new verison. The next time I hooked up my iPod in the car it was not shuffling. I checked the iPod itself and it was set to shuffle. I noticed that when it is actually hooked to the car a different screen is displayed on the iPod. Right now the iPod just moves from track to track alphabetically.

I am not the most tech savy person in the world but it was working great until I downloaded the fix. If anyone has any suggestions or information it would be appreciated.

Well, the BMW doesn't use the iPod's random feature, which is a shame, as it is much better than BMW's programming. The obvious first question is whether you have random all selected.

I will certainly check that but I believe I did. Thanks for taking the time. If you have any other ideas please let me know.

i believe the shuffle feature doesn't work. there's a way to set it up in iTunes before you copy the files over.. like a random playlist i think. I just have different playlists like alternative, electric, rap, etc.

Thanks, that is what I may have to do, although it worked fine before the update. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
