Hi guys,
I was wondering if any of you remove the resonator on his car. I recently installed the SuperSprint Mufflers and wanted to know if removing the center resonator and replacing it with an x-pipe while keeping the front catalytic converters will result in a "freer" more constant flow.
Thank you.

I just removed all 3 resonators from my 545i. I have a cat-back RDSport quad setup with x-pipe. It sounds great. I suppose it also allows for more free flow as well. Nothing to inhibit the flow of air from the headers to cats to silencers (mufflers).
