My Ride: 525ise, Dec 2003, Silver Grey, Black Dakota Leather, Bluetooth, 18'' Runflats, Folding mirrors, Automatic/man box, parking sensers front/rear,latest addition 645ci black saphire, with everthing on, nothing it does not have.
All of a sudden my boot will not open by trying it manually. The only way I can open it is with the boot release on the key or inside the car. Anyone got any ideas

Maybe you enabled the "hotel function" from inside the car. Its located inside, behind the armrest (cupholder storage). Put the key into the keyhole and turn it. Depending on which way, it enables and disables the function.

This happened to my old Audi a4, it turned out that the solenoid had finally given up. Thats the whirring sound you here when you grab the handle for the boot lid. Cost me about ?40.
