LOL me and bad luck with cars, i swear. Had these installed, sqeaking is gone However these stop horrible compared to the oem ones. The pedal is soo damn spongy as well. Do I need to have the brakes bleed? I did follow the "bedding process".

Any thoughts?

What condition are the rotors in ? How many miles ? Mine are absolutely perfect but the car was from the factory when I had the Axxis pads installed. I think your pads and rotors need to "get to know each other a little longer"

exactly...my brakes felt like mush the first few days..then they were fine...nothing beats the feeling of getting out of your car after a short drive and see your wheels dont have a haze to em damn brake dust

hey i had the same exact issue, and i was pretty pissed they weren't that great. Give it a couple weeks, then they will break in and you will get the stopping power. BTW i installed them on old rotors, not new.

1. Bed in your new brake pads again. http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

2. You probably need to bleed your brake lines.

My rotors are old too (they were replaced last year) and the mechanic said they were still plenty good. I guess I will give it some time and see what happens. They do stop good but you have to push the pedal pretty hard.

I followed that bedding process

Bleeding wasnt done, mechanic said there was no need since only the pads were replaced. Can anyone confirm that? Should they be bled?
