258 or 272 bhp??

My Ride: E60 530i Sport, Carbon Black, Grey Leather, Maple Wood, Prof Sat Nav, Bluetooth, CD Changer, Sun Roof, M Spolier and Logic 7 Prof Hifi

Hi chaps....does anyone know when BMW incresaed the torque of the 630i to 272 bhp.......was it just for the new E64 or was it one of these little upgardes they put on every few months. The reason i ask is my 630 seems very quick to me and is certainly quicker than my old 530 and i wondered if mine was the new 272 bhp. Mine is a Oct 57 plate.

It has 272 bhp if it is MY 2008. You can see it from the front and rear lights plus from the rear third stop light. It MY 2008 it is built in the trunk door. From 258 to 272 is not just an upgrade but completely new engine. Direct injection or so called efficient dynamics.
