Does anyone have any pics of the real 2011 convertible 6er with the convertible hardtop? Many spiy pics show it with a soft top, but it has been confirmed that it will be a convertible hard top similar to the 3 series.

Confirmed by who? The latest pix of the cab for the brochure shows a soft top, so not sure who u believe "confirmed" a hardtop as it doesn't appear to be the case. Add the fact that the car would be soo heavy and bloated if this was the case that I don't see it happening at all

Official release is out and the car comes with a soft top as m630 describes...

wonder if this is what's making a debut at the LA auto show...I'm thinking the 6 series vert or the 1M (as the 6 series is already confirmed to debut, a friend of mine that works at KBB mentioned BMW has another surprise for this show :think:)

But I did read a report that the new 6er was supposed to be at the LA autoshow, but not sure if the cabrio or the coupe will be shown. There was also a story about it appearing in the upcoming Mission Impossible movie, so perhaps some star power in the La-La Land show??? :wink:

I read in an Car Magazine..it said that it was going to be a hard top convertible and it said that it would be different than the spy pics. I will try to find it and post it.

Just so you are aware, the cabrio has been "officially" unveiled and it is a softtop, so regardless of any spypix out there, the real deal has been shown in public and is final. :thumbsup:
