Great color. Congrats!
I'm glad to hear you like the sound of the car. If I remember right you had a concern with the sound. It has grown on me but I still liked the sound of the 2006 more..

Some impressions of my european trip with my new car.
1. The sound level inside is improved by FAR. It's very quiet inside comparing to the 2006.
2. The gear changes are much smoother comparing to the old one and when the car is in "sport" mode the gear changes are really FAST.
3. The handling is improved as well and I'm glad that I skipped the Active Steering on this one. The car feels much tighter around corners.
4. The exhaust sound is really really really nice. On the sport package you get the optional sport exhaust system which in my opinion sounds lovely. It sounds almost exactly as a Maserati QP. The sound changes when you engage sport mode to a even more louder sound
5. Overall it feels not just like an updated car, it feels like a new model.
It's the best car I've ever had!
I attach two pictures.
The first one is a picture taken outside Munich where I met up with my cousin with his Porsche 997 carrera S pdk convertible.

The second one is in Antibes

More pictures to come.

Yesterday I picked up my brand new BMW 650i Coupe with the optional sport package.
As far as I can tell, the new car handels better than the old one, the gear changes are smoother, the exhaust sound is improved (sounds like a Maserati Gran Turismo!) and the car feels much better overall. I love it!
The options:
Space Grey
Black Dakota leather
Sport Package
Sport automatic gearbox
HUD
Bluetooth
Sat Nav
Electric folding mirrors
IPOD connection
249 wheels
Etc etc
I attach some pictures! Enjoy!
