Hello, I am new to the forum and a new BMW owner. I just ordered a set of 22" Asanti wheels for my new 650i, I also want to lower it with the eibach pro spring set. I was looking for input on how the ride would be, is this the best way to lower it? where can I get it done here in the Plano Texas area?
What can I expect the cost to be? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

As a former 650i owner, I would recommend that you consider coilovers instead of springs. With springs, you have no control over height or ride quality like you do with coilovers. If the springs are too low, too high, too stiff, too bouncy.. you are stuck. (Unfortunately with my M6, I had no choice of Coilovers and it took me two set of springs and install charges to get the rise I desired)

With that said, I do have a set of KW V3 Coilovers that came off my 650i before I traded it in on my M6 I'm tired of them taking space in my garage and will entertain any reasonable offer. PM me if interested.

welcome. the eibach pro-kit would lower your 650i 1.2" all around i believe. and eibach has been said to be the springs that would give the closest ride/feel compared to oem. as genearch said, coilovers is another great option but a little more pricey. good luck and enjoy the forums.

hi out there in dallas, im sure u like the look of 22s, but they are not the right kind of wheel for the 6er, you will destroy any and all of the hard work that bmw did to optimize the drivability of the car...plus lowering the car will negate the active suspension on the car.....if you're just getting them for show, so be it, but for a daily drive you will surely regret them, they limit performance in every way and they look out of balance...20s are the upper limit, though id not go past the 19s

Thanks m630 for the advice but I have three other daily drivers to use. This car only is only for weekends and pretty weather.
I really like the look of the larger wheel and Ive spoken to annother 6 owner locally who loves his 22's. I wouldnt take it on the track or anything
just going for a specific look. Thanks though

go for KW Coilovers V2 oder V3.

The best out there for me. You can adjust the ride height AND the stiffness

Cheers
