New 5 Series??? A GT Hatchback

My Ride: 2008 528xi
Just got this today, new photos of BMW's new 5 Series GT, Hatchback.

I for one don't like it. They've taken a 5 passenger car and ruined it with the center console going right thru
to the rear seating, making it a 4 passenger. And the hatchback? I don't think it will sell that well.
I guess this is Chris Bangle's going away present to BMW design.

I saw the pics a few days back, I thought it was a concept car which BMW will present this March at an autoshow... I can't say I like the way it looks.... a 5 series hatchback... not my type

Yikes. The new 5 is gonna look great though just not this hatchback thing.

My Ride: 2009 DINAN 135 convertible
I actually like it, particularly the front half of it. The hatch isn't that bad, however, because it looks like it has a dual system, where you can open only the trunk if you want, or you can lift up the entire back end for larger items. So you don't have to open the full hatch just to load groceries.
