yeah GT rocks. even police stopped me just to have a look at it. lets exchange our experiences/questions. mine so far:

- acceleration between 20-40 kmh with 530d is kind of weak (ruckelig) if accelator is not pressed hard (then the car jumps of course)
- dont see any pois (sonderziele) in navi professional even when activated
- only have 2009-2 cards
- no cash machines (geldautomat)
- still looking to inlucde speedcams (blitzer) and to activate dvd/tv during drive

believe me it looks like $90'000 car. it is massive and of good quality (exterieur and interior). here some more pix of my 1 week old gt.

I have seen both 5 series and the gt side by side this past Sunday. Interior wise, gt wins hands down. Much more luxurious feel.

Exterior wise, gt looks grander when it is right next to the 5 series. Can't compare just by looking at pictures. Somehow it's a very different feel physically.

don't get me wrong, The 5 series looks good too. Just caters to different markets.

5 series sedan? boring. everybody is gonna have it (here in europe - switzerland, germany).

i am looking for something progressive and unique -> gt that is why it was my choice

Congrats! Please post pics when you get a chance. Trust when I tell you, you're going to have fun acclimating yourself with the technology of the car! Just don't try to do it while driving LOL!
