Vorsteiner’s M5 Means Business
The key to having a kit look good by not deviating too much from the car’s original lines. Vorsteiner’s carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser do that. Both bits provide a small amount of additional down force, which is good if you’re tracking your car or something, but more importantly, they complement the stock styling instead of changing it. Though… If they were painted to match the body, I think they would look even better.
Similarly to the kit, the wheels are plain in the best way possible. They draw attention from the car mainly because of their size and slight color contrast. Personally, I think they look good. It is a happy step away from the more common deep-dish style wheels that you normally see on tuned cars. They’re not inherently bad or anything, but these ones just look so much more… Serious.
Lastly, Vorsteiner has slapped a custom cat back exhaust the M5’s enthralling V10. They claim a modest bump of 12hp, but really, I want to know how it sounds. You can’t get that from a picture and their video is too busy playing dramatic string music for me to get a clear listen. Though, we expect it sounds wonderful. They’d have a tough time ruining that car’s exhaust note any way.
