Video: BMW i8 prototype Visits the Aerolab

Have a look at this YouCar video of the BMW i8 undergoing wind tunnel testing in BMW Group’s Aerolab. Keep an eye on how the i8’s active shutters gulp test smoke into bottom-front grille, and belch the smoke out through the hood vent — racy.

BMW is positioning the i8 to compete against the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.  This hints at the price you can expect to pay ($110,000) for the 2+2 hybrid sports car when it goes on sale in 2014.
