2014 BMW M235i Racing

We’re looking forward to our first test of the BMW 2 Series. We predict it will be a great car to drive, especially the sub 3,000-lb. 220i that should provide a great basis for the rest of the 2 Series lineup.

Turning the page from “sporty” to “racy” we find this BMW M235i Racing luring us like a $2.99 steak dinner lures a gambling addict into a casino. This stripped-out version of the M235i is set to replace the BMW M3 GT4.

Take a look at the box flares that recall the E30 M3, and you get an idea of the visceral appeal this M235i Racing could offer. Under the hood, this roll-cage equipped BMW has a 333-horsepower 3.0L straight-six sending power through a limited-slip differential.

This car, which we’ve only seen in rendered form, looks far superior to the BMW M2 renderings we’ve seen so far. We’re excited to see how far the M2 raises the bar over this BMW M235i Racing.
