For almost 40 years, Dinan has been making Ultimate Driving Machines even more ultimate by giving them higher levels of power, handling and overall performance. They even turn their wrenches and tuners on BMW’s M cars, such as the M2 that Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire recently tested.

Although BMWs are known as the ultimate driving machines, some of them are more ultimate than others. According to automotive journalist and Youtuber Doug DeMuro, the M2 is the most ultimate driving machine.

In its new campaign for the BMW M2, “Eyes on Gigi,” the company is making it even more difficult to avert your gaze from the pint-size powerhouse.

I live close to the city of Austin, TX, but, apparently, not close enough. Had I ventured out for a BBQ lunch at Franklin’s or a bite to eat at a food truck, I probably would’ve caught sight of a convoy of BMW 228i convertibles.

BMW chooses to call its SUV-like X5 a “Sports Activity Vehicle,” so it should come as no surprise that it’s named the car you see here something other than “a tall wagon” or “a model wearing our badge that spins its front wheels.” The German automaker has dubbed it the “2 Series Active Tourer.”
