Stunning Matte Red BMW M550i Shows Off at SEMA

Complementing the exterior, the owner added red and black forged Lexani wheels wrapped in Lexani rubber.

Walking around SEMA, you see tons of super cool cars. Every possible make and model in every possible color and configuration. One of our absolute favorite builds was this slammed G30 M550i in a funky matte color with some wild color-matched wheels.

While it was indeed on display at SEMA, this is no purpose-built show car. It belongs to an Instagram user who goes by the handle @noopl8_m550i. Looking through their photos, you can watch the car transform of the car from mild to wild.

The car started out as a stock, metallic dark blue BMW M550i. NOOPL8 applied a matte grey wrap from Vvivid Vinyl as well as contrasting orange wheels.

Before its SEMA debut, the owner treated the car to the red matte vinyl you see here. To round out the new exterior look, they installed red and black forged Lexani wheels wrapped in Lexani rubber.

A subtle carbon fiber front and rear lip kit, along with a small matching trunk spoiler, add to the car’s look, while its lowered stance is handled by H&R suspension components. Performance upgrades include a DME Tuning software and a Frequency Intelligent exhaust.

When you start out with a car like the G30 5 Series, it doesn’t take much to make it stand out. If a bolt-on build like this is good enough for SEMA, then it’s good enough for your driveway.

The owner’s Instagram handle comes from the car’s personalized plate. DMV joke? A statement about taxation? A tribute to surrealism? Most likely, it’s just a funny, clever plate idea. Either way, it’s one of our favorite parts of the build.
