Pristine E9 3.0L CSL Is the Classic BMW You Need
The BMW E9 is one of my absolute favorite BMWs of all time. The proportions are perfect, the driving position inspiring, and the looks of the car just make my toes curl up. I saw one last weekend, and was extremely tempted to trade the guy my keys for his. However, after seeing this amazing CSL E9, I’m glad I saved my keys, because I want this one.
As you can see, this 1972 BMW E9 3.0L CSL is in pristine condition. It has 77,000 miles on the odometer, yet looks like it just was pulled off the showroom floor. It’s currently for sale with Fast-Classics and they want 59,995 Euros, which comes out to be around 67,000 U.S. dollars.
For those that haven’t been paying attention to the E9 market, these cars will typically go for around $115,000-$130,000, meaning that this E9 3.0L CSL is a bargain. And with the market on these cars trending upwards, this car will only go up in value.
However, if I were buying it, I’d drive the snot out of it every single day and feel like a million bucks doing it.
