Photo of the Week: E60 5 Series on BBS Wheels
I came across this BMW 5 Series back in August of last year, and immediately started admiring its stance. I’m still drooling over it now in November of 2014. People in the forums have been praising this car, too, and now I’m sharing it with you in this edition of Photo of the Week. Here’s what the owner, jameshuang86, has to say about his E60:
“Wheel specs are BBS CH-R 20×9 +14 and 20×10.5 +14 — offsets are including +10mm spacers. Tires are 245/30/20 and 275/30/20. Fenders rolled, dropped on Bilstein PSS coilovers. As far as ride is concerned, I’ve owned everything from Eibach springs to Tein coilovers to KW Variant coilovers, and I have to say, monotube Bilstein coilovers are hands down the best in terms of ride quality/stiffness. They aren’t the softest springs I’ve had, but they are the best riding (least harsh).”
If that front bumper lip catches your eye, it’s a urethane piece from Hamann, but let’s be honest: the whole car is an eye-catcher, and worthy of a burn into your retinas.
