dAHLer Introduces Competition Line package For 2022 BMW M240i
Competition Line package by prolific BMW tuner dAHLer can bump the overall power output of 2022 BMW M240i to 455 HP and 472 lb-ft.
BMW fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2023 BMW M2 G87. The company was recently testing its upcoming sports coupe at the legendary Nurburgring. It’ll be a while before the new model makes its world debut, but until then, the Swiss outfit dAHLer has an exciting product that might be a great alternative to the upcoming performance model. The company has introduced the dAHLer Competition Line package for the 2022 BMW M240i.
Thanks to a wide range of aftermarket performance upgrades, the Swiss tuner’s new package improves the performance of the BMW M240i. The car ditches its stock exhaust for a stainless steel replacement. The new exhaust comes complete with ceramic coated dual tips. dAHLer revealed that the aftermarket exhaust setup was designed for the European models with Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF).
Customers can also customize the exhaust note and request dAHLer to install adjustable exhaust valves and a custom Eventuri intake. Stage 1 kit bumps the power output of the B58 motor up to 430 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque. The additional boost comes from a performance tuning module that customers can control using their smartphones.
A power pedal box that dAHLer claims delivers 10% faster acceleration is also part of the dAHLer Competition Line.
Furthermore, the stage 2 upgrade can increase the overall power output to 455 HP and 472 lb-ft. So it can keep up with the improved performance dAHLer also installs a digital speedometer. To put things in perspective, the 374 HP M240i is currently the most capable version of the BMW 2 Series. Thanks to the Competition Line, this BMW M240i now rides much lower. The Swiss tuner did not make any upgrades to the car’s chassis.
However, a coil-over suspension setup and stiffer springs improve the handling characteristics of the sports coupe. dAHLer’s M performance 2 Series coupe rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 yes tires envelop the aftermarket rims. The car we have here flaunts dAHLer badging, and the company is currently developing a front spoiler for its new offering.
