BMW Bashes Pickup in Tire-Squealing Road Rage Incident

BMW road rage vs. Pickup

Seriously man, get some anger management.

As much as we love driving, there’s always little things that can ruin the ride. Even the Dalai Lama would get heated in traffic. And in Los Angeles traffic–he’d likely curse like a sailor. But there is no excuse for road rage, ever. This was clearly lost on the driver of a BMW in North Hollywood recently. He went on a fairly psychotic road raging spree against a Ford pickup in a busy intersection. And it was all caught on camera.

Ben Baller was on the scene witnessing the madness. He picked up his phone and captured the incident as it was unfolding and posted it to Twitter. The video caught the attention of many, including the Los Angeles Police Department, who promptly shared the video on their social media.

We have no idea what started the feud, but you can clearly see the white BMW smash into the driver’s side of the Ford truck. Then the Bimmer continues after the truck down the street in a smoky, tire-squealing chase. With the driver’s door open, the BMW is relentless; slamming into the truck several more times, and even attempting to box it in.

Soon after the video hit the internet, the LAPD made an arrest. According to NBC News, BMW driver, David Zulalyan, was arrested and subsequently charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Zulalyan was released on Tuesday, after ponying up $30,000 for bail.

Thankfully no one was injured in the whole rage-spree. Which is pretty remarkable considering how aggressive and careless the Bimmer driver was.

We don’t get it. Sure, everyone gets miffed when they’re cut off in traffic, or someone is riding their tail. But taking it to such extremes is just…well, stupid. Why endanger others on the road, trash your own BMW, and end up in the slammer?

Just chill out, or get a bus pass. You’ve got a beautiful BMW: sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
