BMW M5 Taxi Wrecks at the Ring

As frequently as the BMW M5 Ring Taxi hustles people around the Nürburgring, a crash or two is bound to happen. If you’re ever riding in the Ring Taxi, and your driver loses control and crashes, hopefully you’re as lucky as the people involved in this accident. According to the report from Bridge to Gantry, nobody was seriously hurt. Determining from the location on the Nürburgring where the M5 Ring Taxi came to rest, Bridge to Gantry estimates the car could have been going 113 mph at the time of impact.

Looking at the photos, it appears the BMW M5 held up well in its 113-mph crash.

Silver Lining: while we’re saddened by this M5 casualty, at least this wasn’t a private M5 crash … that would have added insult to automotive injury.
