BMW E36 dominates on the incline. The oversized rear spoiler gave it 480 extra horsepower.
This video by HillClimb Monsters shows why this modded BMW M3 E36 easily claimed Second Place on the GTO class at the Knox Mountain HillClimb in British Columbia, Canada.
One obvious modification is the chopped roof, the other obvious modification is that big ol’ rear spoiler. The 480-horsepower, supercharged incline machine was driven by Andre Marziale, and includes footage from Marziale’s point of view on the climb.
The E36 handles beautifully given the high speeds and the challenging road. The car was built to perform, and it does so very well. The power is evident throughout the video, but really shows when the E36 zooms by the onlookers watching.
However, we’re just not sure about that rear spoiler….
