The BMW 3.0CSL is Everything We Could Ever Want
There’s nothing like box flares and DTM specials to make one swoon over a car. I personally had that kind of moment this week at the Detroit Auto Show, where BMW exhibited the legendary 3.0CSL racecar.
I almost fainted when I saw it just sitting there at the edge of the BMW display. The 3.0CSL is one of the most iconic BMW racecars ever produced. It has a championship-winning heritage and is absolutely ridiculous in every way conceivable. The car is as sinister as you can get. It was just sitting there with its 430-horsepower 3.2L I6 engine, waiting to destroy its competition – and your ability to ever enjoy driving anything else.
It puts the “ultimate” in “The Ultimate Driving Machine,” and I want one.
