Batman Adorned Euro M3 Replica
Whoever Built This Batman-Themed M3 Must Be a Real Joker
Over the years we’ve seen quite a few strange and interesting “custom” BMWs, but this one might just take the cake. What began as a standard E36-generation 325i sedan has been transformed into the strangely captivating ride you see pictured here.
First, the car was fitted with everything that makes an M3 an M3, including a euro-spec S50 engine and 5-speed manual gearbox, plus all of the M3 bumpers and side skirts. The ever-elusive M3/4-door/5-speed is in high demand, so making your own from a 325i makes a lot of sense. After all of that work was completed, a “Hollywood” artist performed a complete airbrush custom paint job.
Honestly, the mural is quite well done on this car, for the most part, though Poison Ivy looks a bit odd on the rear quarter panel. The more we look at the car, the less we find it objectionable. And the more we decide we’d probably drive this bat mobile regularly if it were in our garage. One caveat to that, however; Batman should never, EVER be depicted riding on a giant bat.
