BMW X5 M Versus Corvette ZR1
The BMW X5 F85 is a massive SUV. It’s tires are massive, it’s stature is massive, and it weighs almost three tons. It’s a bruiser in the strictest sense of the word. Then you add the M package, and the three ton behemoth becomes an absolute monster, instilling fear in everything it meets.
When you upgrade to the X5 M, you get a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 that puts down 575 horsepower and 553lb-ft of torque. That means this massive SUV has more power than the new Shelby GT350 Mustang. It has more power than most Corvettes. It even has more power than its cousin once removed, the BMW M4. All that power lets this big SUV hit 0-62mph in just 4.2 seconds. That time is impressive for any car, let alone a three ton SUV.
