BMW has completed its latest 4 Series range with the new second-generation 5-door Gran Coupé. Stylish 382 HP All-wheel Drive Flagship

The stylish $58,995 MSRP all-wheel drive 382 HP and 369 lb-ft 3-liter straight-six turbo48V mild hybrid 3-liter M440i xDrive Gran Coupé flagship is good for 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. It has a spoilsport limited 155 mph top speed while using 33.2 mpg.

It will be joined by a $45,795 MSRP 255 HP 2-liter turbocharged mild-hybrid four-cylinder rear-drive petrol 430i. That car stops the clocks 60 in 6.1 seconds and uses 41.5 mpg. Both have BMW’s eight-speed automatic gearbox is standard. Outside the US, a 181 HP 420i trots to 60 in 7.6 seconds and sips 42.8 mpg and a 188 HP 59 mpg 420d four-cylinder diesel comes in either rear or all-wheel drive.

The new car is based on the same CLAR platform as the 2-door Coupé and the electric i4 that it also shares much of its genesis and BMW’s Plant Munich with. It benefits from a similarly aerodynamically optimized design with active air flap control and an almost sealed underbody.
