BMW driving through mall

Crazed bimmer wagon must have been looking for a shortcut to Orange Julius.

A 31-year-old man was recently arrested in Washington state after he took his BMW wagon for a drive through (checks notes) a mall?! Okay, we don’t like dealing with parking structures either, but come on, surely there’s an easier and safer way.

Samuel Kehoe literally drove through the entrance, tooled around the Wenatchee Valley Mall, turned around, and left the same way he came in. Thankfully no one was injured, but Kehoe did cause a great deal of damage. He has been charged with a number of crimes including property damage, DUI, and drug possession, to the surprise of no one.

“I’ve been almost three decades of policing and I’ve lived here my whole life,” East Wenatchee Police Officer Joe Hinkle, told iFiberOne news.  “But I’ve never known of someone crashing through the doors of a mall and going for a joyride.”

Sonny Fregoso pulled out his phone and captured the entire surreal incident on camera.

Shortly after he exited the mall, Kehoe was apprehended by police. He was found in possession of a number of drugs. But, the uneasy driver again tried a daring maneuver while in police custody, attempting to run out of the police station while in handcuffs. Needless to say, he was again apprehended.

When all was said and done, damages totaled over $10,000. Kehoe is currently locked up and awaiting trial. He is bail was set at $250,000 due to his rather extensive rap sheet.

No word on if he can use his Kohl’s cash coupons towards the bail.
