I have yet to see anyone say they used it on an E60.. can anyone confirm fitment of this?
I just moved and I'm looking at this as an option. Right now I don't have the time or effort to make real measurements of the car, but I can internet browse. It sounds like some cars don't actually fit the span. A few other people on other forums have used it for different BMWs but none mention it for the E60.
As for BMW's its not compatible with, I do know it definitely wont work for a E39. Before anyone purchase you'll most certainly want to measure the jacking point distance front/rear and wheel base from front/rear. The jacking points on an E39 are too far apart (64") for the 5000SLX 72.5" frame length unit. The 5000 unit jack pad spread is 60". You'll want to measure your jack pad spread and if it's larger than 60" it will not work for your E60.
