Our Orion V2 and V4 have been the industry standard for over 8 years. We introduced them back in May 2008, and the first photos were release very soon thereafter.

Why is it successful? The reasons are plenty, they are reliable, exceptionally bright compared to what was offered at the time, high quality construction, and relatively simple to install - requiring no picture frame or fishing line wires to mount. They have always been better quality than the cheaper COB/SMD alternatives.

This new 2017 version is over 60% brighter (using a standard TES 1330A Lux Meter). Original rings are powered by the standard supply at 13V run at .42A while the new rings at the same 13V are .56A. The lifetime is diminished only 10% from our standard 100K Hour Rating and they still come with a lifetime warranty.

Using the LUX meter, the new rings produce 1053 Lumens while the existing rings produce 607.
