So i met up with the seller and i find out they were not oem 166 wheels. They are actually
Suicide Motorsports YSM 244

I was pretty upset that they were not oem 166 wheels. After back and fourth, i decided to buy them anyway, but a cheap price of $300.

Here is the problem.......

The rear fits perfect (265/30/19)

The fronts did not. The hub was short so the tire place put on 10mm spacers for me. When i had my OEM rims on i had no problems at all. No shaking whatsoever. After i added these rims, the steering wheel vibrates at 40mph - 55mph. When it gets to about 65mph it kinda goes away.

I didnt see them put on the spacers, so im not sure if they were hub centric. I called the tire place and they said those spacers are specifically made for bmw 5 series...

What are my options? The tire place said i should bore out the hub because it only needs to be only a little...

You're confusing your terminology. Spacers are used to position the rim away from the hub and are used to correct an improper wheel offset. Concentric hub rings are used to compensate for rims that have larger than a 72.5 mm diameter hub bore (center hole). If the wheel doesn't fit snug to the hub, you'll get the wheel shake you are experiencing at higher speeds. The rings snap into the hole before you mount the wheel.

If the rims you bought have a center bore that's too small to fit over the hub, I wouldn't use them. Boring out the hole to make it larger sounds like trouble to me. I'd resell the wheels and recoup your losses.

Sounds like you have more than tire problems. I'd address the known problems and then have a indie mechanic look at the car for the other issues.

sorry for the confusion. Im new to all the terms. From what i know when they tried to put the rims on the front, it was not able to be pushed all the way in. So they added something in between to fill that gap, which i believe were similar to these (http://www.paragon-products.com/v/vs...s/909570-2.jpg) and added longer bolts. Thanks for helping!

They suggested they bore out the rims so that spacers can be removed....

Is there any other way for me to keep these on or do i just have to cut my loses and sell them?

Adding a thicker spacer wont solve the wobble? wondering if i should try to balance the fronts..
