Default Tire Pressure

I know there are a few threads on this but nothing recent. What tire pressure is generally used on our E60's? What is everyone using and how is it working for you. I have an 04 545i w/sport, Type 124 18's staggered. 245/40/18 & 275/35/18.

I am running F38 / R40psi. Is this too much?

According to the label on the door jam of my car, 18" staggered wheels should have the following pressures:

F: 30 psi
R: 35 psi

I think your pressures are a bit high.

To my knowledge, the advice hasn't changed. Not sure why you'd regard old threads as inaccurate.

The F10 might be different.

JayArras,
I think you misread my post. I never called the old threads inaccurate, nor did I doubt the validity. I was asking what other members were using in similar setups and what their thoughts were. There seems to be a lot of variation with tire inflation specs. Your links prove that. I am and have been on non-rft setup and wasn't sure if the recommended psi was based on that setup or if it even matters (rft vs. non-rft).
