Default Spacer selection

Hi guys, wanted to get spacers for my 550i was curious what your thoughts are on Mechunik and other brand options, I was looking at these:

https://bimmian.com/Accessories-for-...Wheel-Spacers/

Any thoughts, also what size spacers do you guys typically get front (8.5) rear (9.5).

Also I just got winter wheels and tires and the wheels ( I believe they are all 8.5) how would the spacers change and how would there be any other factors that help to determine what I get?

Thanks!

Looking for spacers 8.5 front and 10 rear. Nothing too much that rims are sticking out of fenders.

Thanks guys!!!

I have BMS spacers on my E60 535i. They are high quality and came with the right lug bolts. I'm very happy with them.

You really need to measure to see what size you need before you order them. Place a straight edge across the center of the rim and measure from there to the fender to see how much spacer you can put on without rubbing. This may change with different wheels based on the width and offset. If you have multiple sets of wheels/tires, I'd measure both sets to get spacers that will work with either setup.

If you don't install them right, you'll get vibration, noise, and all kinds of undesirable results. Bust the rust and dirt off the hub rim with a wire brush, clean the hub with some brake cleaner and dry fit the spacers to make sure they sit flush against the hub. Then take them off and smear some anti-seize on the contact surfaces of the hub before mounting the spacer and wheel.
