Default how did I fit 19x9.5 et20 front & 19x10.5 et22 rear on 255/35 & 285/30 tires? pics

Bought some 19in Varrostoen ES2 wheels online and the actual store is 40 min from me so i drove out to see if they fit before i pick them up. Brought my own tires 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear.

the shop keeps telling me i need narrower tires 245/35 front and 275/30 rear, but they never mounted my tires to make sure they will rub or not. The front wants to rub on the strut and the rear wants to rub on the inner rubber liner.

Have anybody dealt with that? seems to be a popular size and i love the style of that wheel.

another thing, is that the spacer i bought has an OEM conical hub centric ring so it fits the stock wheels but the after market wheels will need a straight hub centric. i will show a picture of the OEM style conical hub centric.

Vman33 has Varrostoen wheels same size and he is lowered, i wonder what size tires he is using. I tried PMing him but no response.

ok in his post he says he is running

Front 19x9.5 ET20 (5mm Spacer) 235/40/19

Rear 19x10.5 ET22 (No spacer) 275/30/19

i am trying to run 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear, that makes his tire a little bit taller but my tire is still a little bit wider.

here is a comparison of Vmans tires to mine.

You get it all figured out? A 255 size tire is a bit wide to run up front. To run that and a 9.5" front wheel your offsets have to be spot on since it is already a tight fit up front. Also the spacers should be fine since all wheels have a bevel in the inner edge to make it easier for the wheels to be mounted to the hub lip.

that's the thing those aftermarket wheels did not have the bevel.

i returned the wheels and i can return the tires tomorrow.

so i am stuck at square one again, looking for wheels.

i might look for 235/35/19 tires

i hate going to smaller tires, but i guess if i want to fit them i gotta do it.

You don't have to go with a smaller tire. The correct tire sizing for a 19" wheel will be 245/35-19&275/30-19 and there are plenty of tires options out there. The biggest thing is getting the right wheel with the right offset. If you have the stock sport suspension then wheels with these specs will work, 9x19 et15-18 up front and 10.5x19 et25-30. If you change to a CO suspension you'll probably need a 5-8mm spacer up front. Hopefully this helps make it easier to shop for wheels.

If you really want this wheels to fit you can go this route. Go to the VAC Motorsport website and order their 8mm spacer and a set of hub extenders. This will make the fronts clear the front strut however you should roll your fenders and run no wider of a tire then a 245. That 245 will give it the stretched look to give you a little more room for fender clearance. The rears should be fine since ip the offset is off ny only 3 mm. Probably just slightly roll the rear fenders and run a 275 tire.

I sent you a PM....i think your front tires are too wide...

Here this is with 5mm front and 15mm rear spacers. Front tires 235 rear tires 275.

I think i am going to go with a 10mm spacer in front...i like when the rim sits flush with the body...
